Marty Robbins attended Glendale Union High School and on occasion he would visit to see how the school was doing. George deLange recalls the day Marty was parked in front of the school sitting in a wonderful convertible. We also enjoyed recordings of his music and songs at many of our school dances. So it is appropriate that Marty should have his picture on our page.

Marty Cole has found some statistics for us about our class which I am including here. There were 158 classmates in our graduating class. Our mailing list for past reunions have included about 235 people in attendance. The increased number is because many moved to Washington High School after attending their first year at Glendale. At our 40th reunion their were 54 graduates plus their guests. At that time 20 of our classmates were deceased. Since our 40th reunion, we know of seven classmates that have passed away. Russell (Roddy) Jones, Gloria Pompa Overton, Paul Hirose, Mary Jo Majerle Schlittenhart, Mauricia Moreno Aviles, Mickey Fielding, , Dennis Lewis, Delia Nunez Munoz, and James Wiggins who passed away in 6th grade.
