Used as an accent or background plant. This is a green accent shrub that contrasts well with other shrubs with lighter foliage. Drought-tolerant; suitable for xeriscaping.

Flowers: White, found in clusters, 1 to 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
Blooming Time: March - November.
Leaves: Gray-green leaves with a serrate edge, up to about 1 inch long and 1/2 inch wide.
Found: The USDA claims Cordia parvifolia is native to the USA (AZ). In Arizona it is native to Pima county. In Mexico it is native to Baja Norte, Baja Sur, Coahuila, Durango, Sinaloa, Sonora, & Zacatecas.
Elevation: Native from 0 - 6,490 feet. Usually near warmer coastal areas.
Hardiness: Said to be hardy to as low as 15 �F to 18 �F.
