Pendulous Yucca Pendulous Yucca is considered by the nursery trade to be a 4 - 6 foot tall, evergreen shrub, with blue green, lance shaped, recurving, to arching leaves. Yucca recurvifolia will reach 4 to 6 feet in height. It usually has a single rosett stem when young and then it will become branched as the plant matures. It actually can become tree - like in its older age. Under good growing conditions, Yucca recurvifolia will survive and prosper between 5 and 20 years. Curve Leaf Yucca will bloom from late summer to fall. Its flowers are creamy white, bell shaped, about 1 1/2 to 2 inches long, and they are borne on 3 - 5 foot spikes. It has excellent heat and drought tolerance and is hardy into the teens.
