Desert White Plumbago
Plumbago scandens, Leadwort Family ( Plumbaginaeae ), Desert White Plumbago. Also called: White Plumbago, White Desert Plumbago, Doctorbush, Summer Snow, Leadwort.

A low evergreen shrub or vine, 3 to 10 feet tall with oblong lanceolate leaves.

This plant is attractive to bees, butterflies and/or birds. Drought-tolerant; suitable for xeriscaping.

Height: About 3 - 10 feet in height.
Flowers: White flowers.
Blooming Time: February - May. Throughout the summer but very profuse during the monsoon rain period of late summer
Leaves: oblong lanceolate, green.
Found: Found throughout Florida to Arizona south to Central America.
Elevation: 2,500 yo 4,000 Feet.
Habitat: Chalky/alkaline, Dry, Sandy, washes and canyons . An ideal xeriscape landscape plant in Arizona.
