Spreadfruit Goldenbanner Thermopsis pinetorum is a perennial , shrub, forb/herb and it is a common resident of the upper elevation Ponderosa Pine forests. There is only one species in Arizona. It blooms in the early spring as an erect long flower spike. The blossoms are bright yellow.
Height: About 6 - 16 inches. Spreading out to about 26 inches wide.
