St. George, Utah Temple Pictures
After the martyrdom of Joseph Smith, the Saints were led from Nauvoo to the site of modern day Salt Lake City. It was not too long afterwards that Brigham Young directed the Saints to expand their growth into other areas. One of those areas was modern day, St. George, Utah. The Saints were then directed to build a temple in St. George Utah. The Temple at St. George is the first temple constructed in Utah.
