Huachuca Mountain Rocktrumpet The Huachuca Mountain Rocktrumpet is an erect, evergreen Subshrub, usually roundish, which develops a short stem with a small crown. Its leaves are green, opposite, puberulent, broadly ovate to elliptic, and about 3/4 to 1 1/4 inch long, and 1/4 to 3/4 inch wide. Macrosiphonia brachysiphon flowers are white, trumpet shaped and about 2 - 3 inches long and about 1 1/2 inches wide. It has 2 follicle fruits which are about 5 inches long and covered in red - copper colored hairs. Thes seeds are slightly red, puberulent, and flat, with the margins folded in.
Height: Up to 24 inches tall. Spreads up to 3 feet wide.
