Sedona Arizona is located about 120 miles north of Phoenix in Arizona's central mountains. It is about 30 miles south of Flagstaff. Sedona is set amongst towering sandstone cliffs that glow with an energized red hue. Just north of Sedona is Oak Creek Canyon with its own natural beauty, swimming holes, rock slides, and camping in its cool forest.
The stunning natural beauty of Sedona combined with its relaxed atmosphere has drawn many visitors to the area.
In Sedona you can choose to experience the Sedona Vortexes or participate in a Cosmic Wheel of Destiny Ceremony. In both cases you can be transported into a different demension for a real spiritual experience.
Nearby is Prescott which is a rapidly growing mountain town with old western mining roots. With its pleasant milder climate, it is a popular weekend destination for those escaping the desert heat of the Phoenix area. Outdoor recreation is plentiful in the Prescott National Forest with mountain biking, hiking, camping, and scenic drives.
Prescott is located 100 miles north of Phoenix in the Central Arizona mountains. It is 90 miles southwest of Flagstaff. Hwys 89, 89a and 69 will all bring you right to town.
Prescott is built around a traditional courthouse square with many of it's original buildings still standing, Prescott offers a look into the past with the popular Whiskey Row and other local attractions.
Sedona and Prescott are both so well loved that they have become very crowded tourist spots, so if you enjoy peace and quiet, we would recommend other destinations.
