Rain Lily
Zephyranthes citrina, Amaryllis Family: ( Amaryllidaceae ), Yellow Rain Lily. Also called: Zephyranthes sulphurea, Zephyranthes eggersiana, Citron Zephyrlily, Yellow Zephyrlily.

Yellow Rain Lily, is a clump-forming bulbous perennial plant from the the Yucatan peninsula in Mexico. Its rush-like leaves will reach 12 inches. It has small, deep yellow flowers.

Zephyranthes citrina is sometimes propagated by division of clumps of bulbs but usually by seed. Fresh seed sown soon after ripening germinate in 3-4 weeks.

Height: About 8 - 12 inches high.
Flowers: The flower is 2 1/2 inch in diameter and white crocus-like.
Blooming Time: Mid September - early October.
Leaves: Leaves are glossy deep green, 10 - 12 inches long and up to 1/5 inch wide.
Found: Native of Yucatan peninsula in Mexico.
Elevation: 800 - 2,500 Feet.
Habitat: Loves partial shade to full sun with a moist well-drained soil . Do not overwater.
Miscellaneous: Drought-tolerant; suitable for xeriscaping.
