Pink Trumpet Vine
Podranea ricasoliana, Trumpet Creeper Family ( Bignoniaceae ), Pink Trumpet Vine. Also called Port St Johns Creeper, Port St Johns-klimop.

A large, sprawling, woody vine that is good as a groundcover or on chain link fence. The evergreen pinnate leaves have 7 to 9 leaflets that have pointed ends. Pale pink bell-shaped flowers with red stripes bloom in the summer. Best in full sun with occasional water.

Height: Height to about 20 feet. Equal or greater spread.
Flowers: Pale pink bell-shaped flowers with red stripes.
Blooming Time: Mainly April in Phoenix. Does bloom in November - March.
Leaves: Dark green, pinnatecompound leaves have 7 to 9 leaflets that have pointed ends.
Seed Pod: A long, narrow, straight, flattened capsule. The seeds are brown, ovate and flat, in a large rectangular papery wing.
Elevation: 0 - 2,500 Feet.
Habitat: A Xeriscape Landscape plant. Native to South Africa (Zimbabwe).
