Santa Catalina Mountain Phlox
Phlox tenuifolia, Phlox Family ( Polemoniaceae ), Santa Catalina Mountain Phlox. Also called Phlox, Vine Phlox, or Desert Phlox.

A perennial wirey forb with white flowers.

Height: Height from 6 - 10 inches and up to about 36 inches.
Flowers: The flowers are about 1" wide, white with a yellow throat, tubular shape. The corolla lobes oblanceolate, erose or emarginate.
Blooming Time: April - May then again sometimes from August - October.
Leaves: Simple, smooth-edged, linear to lanceolate, opposite, and up to about 2 inches long.
Elevation: 1500 - 4500 Feet.
Habitat: Deserts, mesas and along roadsides.
