Bladderpod Mustard
Lesquerella gordoni, Mustard Family: ( Cruciferae ), Bladderpod Mustard. Also called: Gordon's Bladderpod.

An annual gray - green herb up to about 16 inches high. During wet years it covers the ground with yellow flowers.

Height: Up to about 16 inches.
Flowers: Yellow flowers with 4 petals up to 1/3" wide followed by a spherical pod with a pointed tip.
Blooming Time: February - May.
Seed Pods: Round pods about 1/8 inches with a slender point.
Leaves: The leaves are simple, smooth - edged (occasionally lobed), they are narrow up to about 2 inches long.
Found: Found throughout Western USA and Sonora Mexico.
Elevation: 0 - 5000 Feet.
Habitat: Roadsides, gravel hillsides..
