Melilotus indicus, Bean Family ( fabaceae ) , Annual Yellow Sweetclover. Also called Annual Yellow Sweet Clover, hexham scent, sour clover, senji, Indian sweetclover, small melilot, mélilot des Indes, kleinblütiger steinklee, trevo de cheiro.

Classed as an Annual or Perennial Annual Yellow Sweetclover is an invasive weed from the Mediterranean to India.

Height: About 6 inches - 24 inches. Spreading out to about 2 - 3 foot wide.
Flowers: Yellow flowers are found on a spike-like raceme which is approximately ˝ to 2 inches long..
Blooming Time: February - March.
Leaves: Leaves are trifoliate and serrated and can each be ˝ to 3/4 inches long..
Shape: The wiry plant is between 1'-3' tall.
Elevation: 0 - 2000 Feet.
Habitat: On cultivated land, roadsides, yards. It also can be found in perennial fields.
