| The Temple Of Luxor complex was linked to Karnak by
the long straight dromos completed during the reign of Nectanebo I. The temple used to be called Ipet Resyt.
Oddly, the Mosque of Abu El-Hagag dedicated to Sheikh Yussef Abu el-Hagag, who is said to have decended from
the Prophet Mohammed during the 12th century is also located in the temple complex.
The following photos were provided by Sonja Sweeten who toured the area during the day time during the month of December of 2001. Thanks very much to Sonja and her sister, Brenda Sanders, for the excellent photos. |

| The courtyard of Ramses II. Note the many colossae of Ramses II. This is a favorite site for the many tourists. |
