Bajada Lupine
Lupinus concinnus, Legume Family: ( Fabaceae ), Bajada Lupine. Also called: Scarlet Lupine.
Height: 6 to 8 inches.
Flowers: Red - Purple to Light Pink - Purple. pea-like flowers about 1/4 inch long in very elongated clusters. The banner petal has a cream - white or yellow center.
Blooming Time: March - May.
Leaves: Green, hairy, and palmately compound.
Found: Arizona.
Elevation: 0 - 2500 Feet.
Habitat: Disturbed soil, roadways, sandy or gravelly areas.
