Height: About 36 inches. Spreading out to about 12 inches wide.
Flowers: Yellow color, in clusters of 1 - 3, tinged red or orange and a red-backed banner petal.
Blooming Time: March to April.
Leaves: Leaves are pinnately compound, with 3 - 5 leaflets, each up to 1 inches long, green.
Elevation: 0 - 4500 Feet.
Habitat: On roadsides, flats, rocky hillsides.
