This page contains information about the Las Dunas Hotel which we can VERY HIGHLY recommend. Just a few hours from Lima, Las Dunas Hotel near Ica, is set among spacious gardens. The hotel has excellent tennis courts, golf course, sandboard, volleyball and basketball grounds. A fully equipped conference room is available for meetings and seminars. The vast and intricate mosaics known as the Nazca Lines are located within easy visiting distance of the hotel. The Sacaco Fossil Desert, aqueducts and the Paracas National Reserve are also nearby. Excursions by boat, launch and glider are available from Paracas to the Ballestas Islands for a closer view of many bird and mammal species. Facilities: All 109 guest rooms are all equipped with private bathroom, TV and mini-bar, and all have views of the hotel gardens. The hotel also maintains a very nice museum where they have preserved the numerous artifacts that were discovered during the construction of the hotel.
