Lamanai has a small museum near the visitors center, which was assembled by many archaeologists including a group from Royal Ontario Museum. It is certainly worth the visit to see some of the artifacts that have been found at Lamanai. Also, at the site you can purchase some food and cold drinks. We recommend bringing your own food, but we ate there and had no ill effects. Our guides mother cooked the lunch we ate and it was really good! We are only showing the pictures of the items on display inside the museum on this page. No attempt will be made to explain any of the items shown.
