| North of Elephantine Island is Kitchener Island (also Known as The Island Of Trees). This botantical garden was started by Lord Horatio Kitchener, the English General who fought in the Sudan in 1898. The island is filled with beautiful plants and birds. We had a very nice quiet time on this island. |
