White Wall Germander
Teucrium chamaedrys, Mint Family ( Labiatae/Lamiaceae ), White Wall Germander. Also called Wood-sage, Wall Germander, Dwarf Germander.

White Wall Germander is an evergreen woody shrub that spreads by underground rhizomes . It makes an excellent groundcover.

Height: Height about 10 - 12 inches. Spreading about 2 feet.
Flowers: A tight cluster of mint-like spikes about 1inch tall on a terminal growth, with white, red, or purple flowers in loose spikes, individual florets about 1/8 inch long.
Blooming Time: Mid December - April.
Leaves: Dark green, simple, serrate, with the underside lighter in color.
Elevation: 0 - 2,500 Feet.
Habitat: Full Sun. No reflected sun. Well-drained, sandy, poor to moderately fertile soils. A Xeriscape Landscape plant. Native to Europe and SouthWest Asia.
