This is a very popular landscaping plant in arizona and it is considered a short lived perennial.
Height: Growing to about 12 inches tall and 12 inches wide.
Flowers: Daisy like flowers up to about 4 inches across. They are yellow, gold, or orange with a dark zone around the central disc.
Stalk: Eight inch stems.
Blooming Time: Mid March - May.
Leaves: Leaves turn upwards at night.
Found: Found throughout lower elevations in Arizona.
Elevation: 0 - 2500 Feet.
Habitat: Alkaline, well-drained/light soils. An ideal landscape plant in Arizona. Native of South Africa.
