Dyssodia pentachaeta, Aster or Sunflower Family ( Asteraceae ) also known as the Composite Family: ( Compositae ), Golden Dyssodia; sometimes called Golden Fleece, Parraleņa, Five - Needle Fetid Marigold, Common Dogweed.
Short lived herbaceous perennial.
Height: Up To seven inches tall and seven inches wide.
Flowers: Bright yellow daisylike flowers on 1 - 3 inch stems; blooms in spring and summer.
Blooming Time: April to October.
Leaves: Threadlike, pointed gray green, lacy, to one inch long.
Found: Arizona.
Elevation: 0 - 5000 Feet.
Habitat: Sandy desert soils.
