Pictures & Photos

These pages contain pictures and photos of travel and tours to special places in Arizona, as well as, special events that have taken place in Arizona.

Arizona: Is derived from "Arizonac" which is derived from the two words, "ali" and "shonak" from the language of the Tohono O'odham Tribe, which means "place of the small spring".

We have lived in Arizona for over sixty years and not only do we know the most beautiful places in our state but we also know of secret areas that the general public is not aware of. Come with us and enjoy these places and our tour!

Be sure to look over the page, Supernova of 1054 AD. It appears from what we have discovered at this site in Central Arizona that all of the text books about the first discovery of the Supernova Of 1054 AD are going to have to be revised! It appears that the Native Americans in Central Arizona, discovered and viewed the Supernova several weeks before anyone else in the world did!

If this is true, and several researchers, now believe that it is. This site is probably the most important ancient astronomical site in the world!

Our Arizona Wildflower page is also rather impressive, as it shows pictures of many of the Arizona Native Plants as well as plants that are commonly used for desert landscaping in Arizona.
