Cream cups are low, soft-pilose, many-stemmed annuals. Dicot.

Height: Up To About 12 Inches Tall.
Flowers: White. Flowers are solitary and terminal on long, almost leafless stems. Each flowering head has three hairy sepals and six white to cream-colored unfused petals, many stamens with flattened filaments, and a single pistil.
Blooming Time: Mid March - May.
Leaves: Opposite, entire, lance-linear leaves to 2" long that are mostly on the lower part of the plant.
Found: Native in Arizona and California .
Elevation: 800 - 3000 Feet.
Habitat: Found in open grassy clay or sandy places in valley grassland, chaparral and oak woodland.
Miscellaneous: Flowering Photos Taken May 1, 2003. Near Lake Pleasant.
