Holiday Inn Chetumal offers facilities from 10 to 1000 people. Chetumal (chatoo´mäl): a fascinating little city in the southeast corner of Mexico. It is the capital of Quintana Roo, the state that borders the Caribbean Sea, also including Cancun and Cozumel in its northern end of the Yucatan Peninsula. A few miles south of Chetumal is the country of Belize. Chetumal is a major import center and free port as well as an export point for the hardwoods of the region, including cedar and mahogany. The city is almost entirely modern, as it was destroyed by hurricane in 1955. We recommend this hotel.
