Dingy Chamaesaracha
Chamaesaracha sordida, Nightshade (or potato) Family ( Solanaceae ) , Dingy Chamaesaracha. Also called: Velvet five-eyes, hairy five eyes.

Dingy Chamaesaracha is a low, dull green plant, covered with fine, glandular hairs, with a flat, round, dingy whitish-green flower in each upper axil.

Height: Up to about 27" tall and usually the same width.
Flowers: Flowers have a corolla about 1/2" wide, with 5 pale bands radiating from center to tips of 5 low lobes; hairy, greenish-yellow pads alternating with bases of 5 slender stamens near center of each flower.
Blooming Time: January to April.
Fruit & Seeds: Berry, 1/8-3/8" (4-8 mm) wide, tightly enveloped by calyx.
Leaves: The leaves are up to 1 1/2" long, pointed at the tip, tapering to the base, the edges usually wavy and sometimes with low lobes.
Found: Two species are found throughout Arizona. near waterways.
Elevation: 0 - 2500 Feet.
Habitat: Riparian habitats.
