Casa Grande is a city in Pinal County, Arizona, United States. The population was 25,224 at the 2000 census. It is named after the Hohokam ruins at the nearby Casa Grande Ruins National Monument. Incorporated in 1915, Casa Grande is the largest city in Pinal County.
Casa Grande was founded in 1879 during the Arizona mining boom. A major railroad terminated in Casa Grande, which was originally named "Terminus".
Of course, the most important event that took place in Casa Grande, as far as we are concerned, is that Audrey (Holland) DeLange lived here.
