When we went to Guatemala City and Tikal we stayed at the Westin Camino Real Hotels at Guatemala City and on Lake Peten Itza near Tikal. We found the people who work at these hotels to be very nice and they tried to make our stays as pleasant as possible. The food at their hotels was excellent.
