A low - rounded, herbaceous, evergreen, perennial shrub.

A good Xeriscape Landscaping plant.

Height: Height to about 1 - 3 feet. Up to about 4 feet wide.
Flowers: The flowers consist of terminal clusters of pinkish white fuzzy flowers.
Blooming Time: March to November.
Leaves: Linear leaves sometimes lobed at the terminal ends. They are gray-green, up to 3/4 inches long, slightly rolled inward. Their underside is silvery and pubescent.
Seed Pod: Thorny, globose, walnut-sized 1-1/2 inches in diameter with many small, slender spines.
Elevation: 900 - 4800 Feet.
Habitat: Rocky South facing rocky slopes.
