Acacia redolens, Legume or Pea Family ( Fabaceae ), Trailing Acacia. Also called Prostrate Acacia.
Deciduous groundcover.
Height: Height about 2 - 5 feet. Spreading about 6 - 12 feet.
Flowers: 1/8 inch, yellow puffballs. Followed by bean pods, to 3 inches long.
Blooming Time: Mid February - April.
Leaves: Simple, dull blue green, entire margin, leathery, parallel venation, enlarged apex.
Elevation: 0 - 2,500 Feet.
Habitat: Full Sun. Dry Soil. A Xeriscape Landscape plant. Native to Australia.
